Our infographic visualizes which news outlets in each state are seeing the strongest traffic numbers for August 2020, as well as the top keywords driving traffic to their sites.
As seen below, the New York Post leads the scoreboard, with a total of 104.8M monthly visits in August, more than double the amount of traffic to the Los Angeles Times (41.7M), the second-largest local news site. The Chicago Tribune – the top outlet in the Midwest – had 24.3M and is followed by the Houston Chronicle and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, which respectively had 14.5M and 13M visits.
